Family Legal Secretary - Manchester: up to £22,500 DOE
A reputable and community focused law firm in Central Manchester are looking to recruit a Family Legal Secretary to join their team. You will be joining a 5 Partner practice that focus across a variety of law areas, where their main aim is to provide an excellent personal & professional legal service to their clients. With strong values & beliefs, they seek for employees that fit into their "family ethos" and you will be joining an experienced team.
This role is purely focusing within the family law area and the successful Legal Secretary will have a background in this area to enable them to hit the ground running. Reporting to one of the Partners, you will be responsible for supporting the team with a variety of administrative duties. They are recruiting for this position either on a full time basis alongside applications being welcome from candidates with strong experience that are looking for flexibility around their working hours.
This will include but not be limited to the following:
* Drafting legal correspondence
* Communicating with solicitors, clients and court personnel
* Scheduling court depositions, hearings and other meetings
* Making travel arrangements for the solicitors
* Filing court documents ahead of deadlines
With previous experience as a Family Legal Secretary you will have the ability to prioritise and organise a demanding workload. You will possess a courteous and professional demeanour with excellent written and verbal communication skills. A strong sense of discretion is paramount for this role alongside the passion & dedication to meet tight deadlines.
