Our client is a professional and highly regarded company, they have an exciting opportunity and are seeking to recruit a full time Legal Assistant on a permanent basis to support their PTT team.
THE ROLE:
Liaise with clients, beneficiaries and external organisations
Deal with the administration of Estates to include:
v Registering deaths
v Prepare documents towards applications for Grants of Probate, including Inheritance Tax returns
v Deal with Estate assets in accordance with Testators Will
v Prepare Estate accounts and Tax Certificates
Assist the Supervising Partner by researching legal sources of references on points of law when necessary
Keep a written record of all relevant telephone calls and personal attendance on clients and other parties
Ensure the confidentiality and security of all practice and client documents and/or information;
Greet clients in a professional and pleasant manner
Ensure that continuing contact is maintained with clients at all
Deal efficiently with enquiries by telephone or post and ensure that any client complaints are dealt with both professionally and promptly to the satisfaction of the client and in accordance with Law Society guidelines
Understand the obligations relating to client accounts and ensure the preparation of the Service of Bills complies with the Solicitors Accounting Rules
ABOUT YOU:
Their ideal candidate will have previous experience of PTT Administration, experience of working in a client-facing environment, be a confident MS office user and have strong organisational skills.
