Based near Solihull, this publicly listed global business is a leader in their field. The established in-house legal function is highly thought of within the business and is looking to add a commercially aware individual to the team.
The successful candidate will be between 2 and 6 years' PQE with a strong general commercial background and will be the lead lawyer on many important commercial projects focusing predominantly on commercial agreements such as supply, IT and procurement contracts together with advising on a variety of generalist legal issues.
With either a background in private practice or in-house, you must be a skilled communicator and capable of interacting with the business at all levels. Strong technical ability and excellent drafting and negotiation skills in a variety of corporate and commercial contracts is essential. Prior in-house experience is not necessary.
Candidates need to be able to demonstrate that they are the right fit for the team. You need to show you are personable coupled with an approachability and a willingness to add value to every single situation that you face.
