Data Protection & GDPR Lawyer
A fabulous and unique opportunity for a qualified Solicitor or Barrister specialising in Information law involving Data Protection and GDPR for a national law firm based in their London office.
The Firm
A leading provider of legal services to clients throughout the UK from both public and private client sectors. The firm employers over 500 staff and have long standing client arrangements on a variety of panels and preferred supplier contracts.
The Role
The Data Protection & GDPR Lawyer will be part of a Clinical Law department including healthcare advisory specialists and advocates, focusing on information law. The work will involve;
GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018
Personal data Breaches
Drafting data sharing and processing agreements
Freedom of information law, including complaints to the ICO, and appeals to the Tribunal
Dealing with complex subject requests.
The Candidate
The Data Protection & GDPR Lawyer will have experience of advising on information law issues, ideally across transactional, advisory and litigation issues.
The candidate will be a qualified Solicitor or Barrister.
Salary to £63,000
