A top firm in Oxford is currently seeking a Commercial Litigation Solicitor (0-3 years + PQE) to join its widely regarded Litigation team. The team advises on a broad range of commercial litigation, including the niche practice areas of education, defamation and data protection. The team's work ranges from commercial contract issues and professional negligence claims to intellectual property law and breach of contract claims.
The Commercial Litigation department, which has continued to see increasing volumes of work, is Partner-led with 3 other fee earners. As the ideal candidate, you will have obtained broad legal knowledge and expertise within a noted litigation practice, to include a 6-month seat in commercial litigation during your training contract. You will be versatile, solutions-orientated and adept at providing high quality legal support, and have a strategic approach to issues.
You will be expected to interact appropriately with clients, so you must be quick-thinking, driven, commercially minded and enthusiastic.
