Project Manager, Law Firm, £500-600 per day, Central London
Our client is a London-based law firm specialising in intellectual property (IP), patent and trademark law.
Following an expansion of the firm as a result of growth in the intellectual property practice, a Project Manager is required to take the firm on a transformational journey, moving away from very dated bespoke case management and associated systems to a turnkey 3rd party product.
This project will involve migration from the old systems to the new system, along with the introduction of corresponding business processes and training for staff.The current system has over 15 million documents, some of which are up to 25 years old. This data needs to be cleansed, extracted and migrated without causing impact on the business as usual activity of the firm.
The Project Manager will lead the project through the full life cycle, from discovery, analysis, data cleansing and implementation of the new system.
The Project Manager will need to lead this transformation and change process, whilst at the same time enabling business as usual.
The Project Manager will need to be able to work with professionals at all levels within the firm, maintaining support for transformation and regularly keeping senior partners updated on progress, this requires the Project Manager to be well-rounded in terms of stakeholder management skills and abilities.
